Service Description

Combine a snowmobile with a dirt bike and what you get is a snow bike! Lighter and more manoeuvrable than a snowmobile, snow bikes are able to sidehill, climb and navigate tight terrain unlike anything snow has ever seen. So put the skis away for a day, and come rip up with us and your crew! Itinerary (2.5hrs Ride Time) *Please note - travelling distances depend on which location we will visit. This will vary depending on pick up location and the weather conditions. 11:00 am: Pick up New World Supermarket, Frankton (Near Queenstown Airport) 12:30 pm: Arrive on location. Begin safety briefing, Induction and avalanche safety talk. 1:00 pm: Let's ride! 3:30 pm: Snack / Drinks break, refuel. 5:30 pm: Time to finish for the day, pack up the gear and head back to pick up location. What we wear: All Rental Gear available on the day MX boots with thermal waterproof socks Moto Helmet (must be valid to NZ standards) Ski Google’s Thermal underwear Winter ski type Gloves Ski pants and jacket or warm waterproof outerwear Optional (highly recommended) items: Beanie / Balaclava -Spare gloves -Spare goggles -Spare warm layer If there is any special equipment you need to hire ie. BIG or small sizes, please let us know the sizes required when you book or at least 14 days before your riding day. We supply a backpack with avalanche equipment (we avoid avalanche terrain although it is safe practice to be prepared for the unlikely in the backcountry). Please bring along Water and High Energy Food to place in your backpack for your tour.
