Service Description

Combine a snowmobile with a dirt bike and what you get is a snow bike! Lighter and more manoeuvrable than a snowmobile, snow bikes are able to sidehill, climb and navigate all kinds of terrain unlike anything snow has ever seen. So put the skis away for a day, and come rip up with us and your crew! Agenda: (Approx 5 hrs Ride Time) Times may vary due to weather conditions and/or location change. Times are estimation only. If these times do not work we can cater to your needs and book you in manually, please contact us. 7.30 Pick up from New World Supermarket, Frankton (Near Queenstown Airport) 9.00 am - 9.30 am: Arrive at location. Begin safety briefing, induction and avalanche safety talk 10.00 am: Let's Ride! 12.30 pm: Lunch break, refuel and gear check 2.00 pm: Afternoon tea break, catch up 3.30 pm: Finish for the day, pack gear and head back to Frankton 5.30 pm: Drop off at New World Supermarket, Frankton (Near Queenstown Airport) What we wear: All hire gear available on the day. MX boots with thermal waterproof socks Moto Helmet (must be valid to NZ standards) Ski Google’s Thermal underwear Winter ski type Gloves Ski pants and jacket or warm waterproof outerwear Optional (highly recommended) items: Beanie / Balaclava -Spare gloves -Spare goggles -Spare warm layer If there is any special equipment you need to hire ie. BIG or small Sizes please let us know the sizes required when you book or at least 14 days before your riding day. We supply a backpack with avalanche equipment (we avoid avalanche terrain although it is safe practice to be prepared for the unlikely in the backcountry). Please bring along Water and High Energy Food to place in your backpack for your tour.
